Cedar soffits were just the right finishing touch…except that the fire code said no to solid wood. Undaunted, the architect from Zimmer, Gunsul, Frasca partnership turned to Contact Industries to help engineer a solution that would satisfy the fire marshall while remaining true to the aesthetic intent of the design. No problem. Contact sourced a custom-formed aluminum ceiling profile, profile-wrapped cedar veneer to it and the result met both the fire code and the design expectations.
