Contact Industries, an ISO 9001:2008 certified organization, has been supplying components ranging from engineered cut stock to veneered components, for manufacturers in the window and door, furniture, cabinet, and fixtures industries for more than 20 years.

With a wide range of capabilities that typically go well beyond our customers’ own in-house capabilities, we are able to help OEM customers reduce manufacturing costs while expanding product offerings.

Window and Door Components
Nowhere are the specifications for RTA component parts more exacting than in the window and door industry, where tight tolerances are commonplace. It’s no surprise that Contact is a major component supplier to some of the country’s best known brands of both windows and doors.

Offerings include:

  • RTA components
  • Engineered cutstock
  • Engineered stiles and rails
  • Profile wrapped and/or veneer laminated components of all types
  • More than 200 choices of veneer species
  • Pre-finished and preservative treated, on request
  • Special packaging
  • Just-in-time delivery programs available

Customers who once told us there would be no way we could meet their specs on a consistent basis and still help control costs are now enjoying up to 30% reductions in manufacturing costs. Contact us today to learn how we can help you.

Ceiling Components
Contact Industries collaborates with many of the most well-known ceiling systems manufacturers to offer a wide range of linear and panelized ceiling components, including perforated acoustic ceilings and Class A fire-rated components. Our unique machine capabilities, processes and adhesives allow us to apply real wood veneer and films to components made from roll formed aluminum, particleboard, medium density fiberboard (MDF), steel and a variety of other substrates.

Many component assemblies can be delivered prefinished and ready to install with Class A fire ratings.

In addition to partnering with ceiling system manufacturers, Contact also offers its own line of veneered tongue-and-groove products suitable for ceiling and wall applications. These products utilize a finger-jointed pine substrate and are available in any veneer species. Specified sizes up to 13.5 inches wide and 16 feet in length provide for easy installation, resulting in reduced labor and lower overall installed costs.

Cabinet and Furniture Parts
Contact Industries’ veneered products provide unmatched economy, efficiency, product aesthetics and performance for cabinet and furniture OEMs. Our value is often recognized for making manufacturing processes faster and more efficient by allowing us to clear up production bottlenecks or avoid investments in new processes or equipment.

Any species of wood veneer can be profile-wrapped over a variety of substrates to achieve the best solution for mouldings, door parts, decorative rails and other RTA components.

Call today with your opportunity. We probably can help.

Stair Components
Stair rails, skirt boards, and other stair parts can be profile wrapped in any species of veneer, allowing you to expand your species offerings without expanding inventory.

Stair parts are available in lengths up to 16 feet with a fingerjoint substrate that can be completely wrapped in the veneer species of your choice. The seam in the profile wrap is strategically placed where it cannot be seen. 16-foot lengths allow for single-piece installations with little to no waste.

Store and Office Fixtures
Just as furniture and cabinet manufacturers are discovering the advantages of real wood veneer profile wrapping, so too are store and fixture manufacturers. In this market, our ability to apply wood veneer to non-wood substrates such as aluminum and recycled vinyl is particularly useful as manufacturers attempt to minimize component weight while maximizing aesthetic beauty. Contact works closely with commercial designers to engineer unique component parts for a wide range of fixture applications.
