Early in 2007, Contact Industries significantly enhanced its prefinishing capabilities to meet the growing demand for high quality stain and paint finished products. To meet the market’s expectations for color consistent, ready-to-install products, we added a new fully automated Stain and Top Coat and Finished Coat Paint line, enabling us to pre-finish products more efficiently and with the ever changing higher quality finishes required for commercial and residential architectural projects.

Contact Industries also now offers an environmentally friendly UV top coat cure. With UV curing, VOC and HAP emissions are virtually eliminated, the cure is nearly instantaneous, the energy invested is only in the curing reaction, not in heating the finish, and the end result offers superior resistance to scratches and chemicals.

A UV line itself brings a wide range of operating efficiencies and improved product performance. UV cures are spray-applied resulting in excellent coverage of part profiles such as window and door components as well as unique custom Architectural components. The cure is seamless for complete coverage across the part and the process eliminates VOC emissions, a growing environmental concern.
